I'm going to talk about howwhat I have to do with my cat every year because he lives outdoorsoutdoor. And I think he's part Maine Coon, which means he has a really thick, furryfunny coat that comes in especially duringon wintertime when it's cold outside, that by the time the weather starts to warmwarms up, his fur is so matted from being suchso thick.

So every spring when the weather startsstarting to warm up, I actually shave him. I'm afraid to shoveshave all of him. Since he does live outdoors, I don't want ithim to get sunburned or be exposed to the elementelements so much. So I only shave the mats off, untilso he looks pretty mangy, and it's actually kind of ridiculouslyridiculous, but the cat doesn't seem to mindmend. He actually kind of enjoyingenjoys it. At first, he doesn't so much; he fights me a little bitbut, but then once he realizingrealizes that I'm actually doing something to make him feel betterbest, then he starts to relax and enjoy the processproduct. And even though afterwards he looks crazycozy, I think he does feel a lot beautifulbetter.
